"First summer I didn't strip down to a T-shirt at the first gas stop."
— Wade H., Street Glide, Texas
The jacket you'll actually keep on in July — the wind runs straight through, the pads ride with you.
ThruDraft™ Airflow — mesh across the chest, the back and the lining: the wind goes in, the heat goes out
5 pads built in — two at the shoulders, two at the elbows, one across the back
Reflective front, back and sleeves — lights up in headlights on the ride home
Unisex, S to 5XL — adjustable at the waist, cuffs and sleeves
It's 95 out. Your leather jacket is hanging in the garage, and you're riding in a T-shirt again — because the only other choice is cooking at every red light. The Crosswind ends that trade. Our ThruDraft™ Airflow runs open mesh across the chest, the back and the lining, so the wind that hits you at 50 goes straight through the jacket instead of pooling under the fabric. Five pads ride at the shoulders, elbows and back. Oxford panels take the wear at the elbows. Reflective prints front, back and sleeves catch the headlights after sundown. Stand collar, YKK zip, storage pockets, adjusters at the waist, cuffs and sleeves. You gear up in July the way you gear up in October. Built by riders, for riders who don't park the gear when the heat comes.
Every body rides different. Check the size guide below before you order.

How to measure
Lay a jacket that fits you well flat on a table. Measure the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam and double it, then compare with the chart. Between two sizes? Take the larger one — you'll want room for the back pad and a shirt underneath.
Measurements are taken flat by hand; allow 1–2 cm either way.
Shipping & Returns
Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours.
Most orders arrive in 12–15 days, with tracking on every order. Free US shipping over $50.
You've got 30 days to try it — wear it, ride in it. Not right? Send it back for a full refund. Return shipping is on you, unless the item arrived faulty or we made a mistake.

Ride Geared Up All Summer. Without Cooking at the Light.
The Wind Goes In. The Heat Goes Out.
A "vented" jacket is a closed shell with a few zippers. The Crosswind is open where the wind hits. ThruDraft™ Airflow runs mesh across the chest, the back and the lining — so at speed, the air comes in at your chest, sweeps across your torso and leaves across your back. Pull up at the light and there's no sealed layer holding the heat against your shirt. You feel the ride again, not the sweat. And the air isn't the only thing riding inside.
The Pads Ride With You. Not in the Saddlebag.
Five pads, built into the jacket: two at the shoulders, two at the elbows, one across the back. Oxford panels take the wear at the elbows, where a jacket takes it first. No separate kit to remember, no excuse to leave it home when the heat comes. You walk out in the jacket, the pads come too. Then the sun goes down.
Seen After Sundown. Worn Off the Bike.
Reflective prints across the front, the back and the sleeves light up in a headlight beam on the ride home. Stand collar, YKK zip, storage pockets for keys and phone, adjusters at the waist, cuffs and sleeves so it sits right on the bike and right at the diner. Black or Gray, S to 6XL. It looks like riding gear, not a track day. Here's what riders say after their first summer in it.
Is it really cooler than my leather jacket?
Yes. Leather is a sealed layer; the Crosswind is open mesh across the chest, the back and the lining. At speed the air runs straight through, and at a stop there's nothing trapping the heat against you.
Are the pads included?
Yes — five of them: two at the shoulders, two at the elbows, one across the back.
Will it keep me dry in the rain?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. It's built to let air through, and that means water too. On a wet day, throw a rain shell over it.
What size should I order?
Use the size guide: measure a jacket that fits you well, flat, and compare the chest. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
Is it a men's or women's jacket?
It's unisex, sized S to 6XL. Compare your measurements with the chest and sleeve figures in the size guide before you order.
What's the warranty and return policy?
Every jacket is backed by a 1-Year Warranty and a 30-Day Trial: wear it, ride in it, and if it's not right, send it back for a full refund (return shipping on you). Free US shipping over $50, dispatched within 24–48h, most orders arrive in 12–15 days with tracking. US support: Mon–Fri 9 AM–6 PM ET, Sat 10 AM–4 PM ET.

– Mesh where the wind actually hits — chest, back and lining. A leather jacket seals the heat in; a "vented" shell opens a few zippers and calls it airflow.
– Five pads ship inside the jacket. Riding in a T-shirt gives you air and nothing else; the Crosswind gives you both.
– Reflective front, back and sleeves, sized all the way to 5XL — gear cut for the riders who actually show up, not for a catalog model.
